Getting Easy File Uploader live on your store takes just a few steps — installing the app, picking a plan, then setting up your first field. Here's exactly what happens, step by step.

Step 1 — Install the app
Go to the Shopify App Store and find Easy File Uploader, then install it into your store.

Step 2 — Choose a plan
The first screen after install is plan selection: Free or Professional. Free includes up to 2 custom fields, unlimited product configuration, multiple file upload support, and file storage for up to 1 month. Professional includes unlimited custom fields, unlimited product configuration, multiple file upload support, and file storage for up to 6 months. Both plans come with a 3-day free trial.
Pick the plan that suits you, then click Select. If you choose Professional, you'll be taken to a subscription approval page — click Approve to confirm, and your plan is reflected in your account immediately.

Step 3 — Choose your input field
On the onboarding screen, choose between the two field types: File Upload or Text Box. As you select one, the field preview panel on the right updates in real time, showing exactly how it will appear on your product page. Click Next to continue.

Step 4 — Configure the field
  • Enter a Field Name — this is what will show up later in your order listing, so name it something you'll recognize (e.g. "Custom Artwork").

  • Product Configuration: choose whether the field appears on all products or only on specific products. All products is checked by default.

  • Variant Configuration: choose whether the field appears on all variants, or only on variants matching specific conditions. All variants is the default.

  • Click Save & Next once everything looks right — the field is created at this point.

Step 5 — Add the app block
Click Add App Block. This automatically opens the Shopify Theme Editor with the Easy File Uploader block already added to your product page — by default it appears just above the Buy button. You can drag it to reposition it if you'd like. Click Save in the Theme Editor, then return to the app.

Step 6 — Finish onboarding
Back in the app, click Finish to complete onboarding. Your field and all its settings are now saved and live.

Tip: place a test order yourself afterward to confirm the field appears correctly on the storefront and that the submission shows up on the order.
