Yes. Fields are created and targeted independently, so you can put both on the same product — for example, a logo upload plus a note about where to place it.
For example:
Create a File Upload field and a Text field separately, and set both to Show field on selected products, picking the same product for each. Both fields will then appear together on that product's page — for example, a logo upload field plus a "notes for placement" text field on the same custom t-shirt.
